From Brentwood. For Brentwood.: I’ve lived in Brentwood most of my life. It is also where I do business. As a son, husband, father, community leader, and businessman I will work hard using my abilities and experience to protect the “Brentwood Dream”.
I would like to invite you to be involved
Brentwood has been home since I was a kid. I work here, own a business, and have raised my family in Brentwood. Now, with the open seats on the commission, it seems a natural next step to share my many experiences and to continue to work hard to preserve Brentwood as the best place to live, work, and learn for all.
As a son, husband, father, community leader, and businessman of Brentwood, I believe it is my time and my duty to serve our community to continue what makes Brentwood unique and welcome new opportunities to keep Brentwood moving forward.
I can describe Nelson with one word, passion. He is passionate about his family, his business, and his community. I believe he would be an ideal choice for the Brentwood City Commission.
I have known Nelson since we both moved to Brentwood when Brentwood Middle School was still Northside Junior High. As Nelson likes to say, “Pam and I have known each other for weeks.” Through all of those weeks, Nelson has remained the same gracious, courteous and genuine person from the first day to the present. I became involved with Nelson’s campaign because I know that Nelson loved Brentwood as a Northside Viking, and he cares even more today about maintaining that community spirit while appreciating the growth that it has seen since that time. I fully trust Nelson Andrews to honor the City of Brentwood and protect its spirit. He has the history, business experience, and attachment to the community that is essential to serve as Commissioner, and I strongly urge you to cast your vote for him.

Brentwood needs commissioners who understand our values and concerns as residents, business owners and parents of children in our schools. I support Nelson Andrews because not only does he walk in our shoes every day as a community member, parent and business owner, it is clear to me that he has the life experience, knowledge, and vision for Brentwood that we critically need at this time.
Rick and I have been friends with Nelson for more than 15 years and he has always shown his passion for our community. As a business and community leader, he interacts with the highest level of integrity. We trust him to make decisions in the best interest of others and our community. This is why Nelson would be an excellent Brentwood City Commissioner.
I have known Nelson for over 30 years and he and his family have always been committed to our city and community of Brentwood. As a former Board of Education Member and County Commissioner, I know the dedication it takes to serve our families and Nelson embodies those qualities. As a City Commissioner and servant leader, Nelson will continue to make Brentwood the home we all love and cherish.
Nelson has many outstanding qualities from humble to hard working to dedicated, but most important is he listen and cares. He listens and cares about each person. I look forward to his leadership, caring and listening as the next City Commissioner.
I have known Nelson for over 15 years. His greatest quality – he cares – about his community, the city and the people who inhabit it. Beyond being a successful businessman, he is a true leader, who can keep Brentwood the superior municipality that it is.
Nelson is the quintessential community servant leader: looking for ways to leverage his experience and expertise for the good of others. I joined his team because I believe Brentwood will benefit from a leader grounded in our history, leading us in the present, and taking our Brentwood community into a prosperous future.
Nelson’s inviting leadership skills are born from his character that we know and love. We trust him to represent us in the city’s issues of today as well as navigate and lead us in the future.
The City of Brentwood operates with a $73 Million Annual Budget. It’s a big business that impacts us every day. With the turnover on the City Commission, it is critical that we have Nelson on the Board with his understanding of business and his leadership skills.
I’ve known Nelson Andrews (and his family) both personally and professionally for many years. Nelson is a man of great integrity and honesty. He’s a business man and a family man. He loves Brentwood – both rich’s and deep history to the exciting future. We need leaders like Nelson Andrews and I’m honored to call him my friend.
Knowing the Andrews family for over 20 years, I have witnessed firsthand the commitment and love that Nelson has for his community as he has demonstrated this through hard work and sound moral character. Having a servant heart, Nelson is trustworthy and a good listener, as he strives to do what is best for those he serves. He cares about the individuals who make up the whole; he cares about each citizen and what matters to him/her in making the Brentwood community better now and in the future. To support Nelson Andrews is to support what is best about Brentwood.
Beyond a doubt, Nelson Andrews is the most qualified person to run for this position. As a businessman, a father, and even a musician, Nelson has done it all. In everything he does, Nelson exemplifies honesty, fairness, and a willingness to serve. Nelson will use those qualities to create a better Brentwood – a place he grew up in and holds dear to his heart.
Nelson has a clear vision and the stout backbone to do what is right for Brentwood. He has a proven business career and the heart to give back to his community. Vote Nelson.
Nelson Andrews lives and runs a business in Brentwood. He is involved in all phases of activity and knows what the people in Brentwood want. He Always volunteers for whatever is needed in Brentwood. He has the highest ethical standards. I strongly endorse him for City Commission.
Nelson Andrews has demonstrated the ability to successfully run a large-scale, high-quality operation – attributes I strongly believe would serve Brentwood citizens well if he is elected as city commissioner. He is vested in the strength of our community and knows our city well. Having worked in a volunteer capacity with Nelson for several years, I was able to witness his consistent “going above and beyond” efforts as a listener and a do-er. He is an honest and ethical man who gets involved for better outcomes. Nelson has proven he can get things accomplished and wants the best for Brentwood – – he absolutely my full support and my vote!
As a man of integrity, honesty, compassion and poise, Nelson has my full support. His proven years of service to our community, both in business and with non-profits, has prepared him well. He is the perfect choice for Brentwood City Commission.
Nelson Andrews is a completely upstanding person whom I would be thankful representing my community. He will be and is a thoughtful, experienced and caring leader who will work hard for the people of Brentwood. We would be lucky to have him as a commissioner.
Nelson is a tremendous leader. He strives to make life better for his employees and family. I am confident that he will bring that same energy to the Brentwood Commission by emphasizing a positive climate for business, education, transportation and recreation.
Nelson has spent the majority of his life living in Brentwood, from childhood to growing his own family and running a successful family business with his father. He has also been a tremendous philanthropist and community leader for the 13 years that I have had the pleasure of knowing him. I can’t think of a better human being I would want to have as City Commissioner to help lead Brentwood’s future.
Nelson has a proven track record of service and giving back to the Brentwood community. I joined his team because I believe he is the right candidate to represent Brentwood in the future.
Nelson and the Andrews family have been an integral part of Brentwood for many years. He understands the importance of family and how important it is for everyone to have a fair shot at doing business in Brentwood. Nelson will not rewrite the rules as he knows the values we in Brentwood share; but he will work to enhance what we currently have to make our community safer, greener, more livable and a great place to work.
As the head of the Brentwood High TV & Film department, I truly appreciate the financial commitment the City of Brentwood makes to our school, some of which filters down to our program. As a long-time sponsor of WBHS 9, I know Nelson will continue to support the efforts of my student filmmakers and the entire school system.
I observed and read several exchanges in the past several months with Nelson Andrews and many Brentwood residents about several issues.
I was impressed with Nelson’s knowledge of the issues, how he listened to everyone and articulated solutions and answers.
A few weeks ago, I learned Nelson was going to be a candidate for Brentwood City Commission. I told my wife about Nelson and said we need to meet him and support his campaign. We met him Sunday at Church
and are active supporters.

I’ve lived in Brentwood for over forty years and the Andrews family have been a staple in our community. I’ve served with Nelson in a professional capacity and know him and his family on a personal level. I’ve witnessed first-hand his excellent leadership and his love of the community he calls home. Nelson is exactly the right person we need to conserve the Brentwood of old while helping navigate the future of Brentwood.
I have known Nelson and his family for over 25 years. Nelson cares deeply about the community. He will bring the acumen of a businessman coupled with the passion of one who grew up here. His desire to see Brentwood maintain the standards that define it, yet evolve in a planned manner will serve us all well for many years in the future. I cannot imagine anyone who is better prepared for this important role.
I’ve worked with Nelson on both business and community projects for more than 20 years. It’s hard to think of anyone with a better track record as a community leader than Nelson Andrews. His thoughtful and informed approach would serve the community well on the Brentwood City Commission.
